Starting At Sabre
These forms request some personal information, therefore inductees will be required to complete an "Information Exchange Statement" at this time.
Whilst completing these forms new trainees will receive an explanation and guidance on how and why they need to complete these forms.
Trainees entering into Sabre Associates training programme will be involved in Sabre's induction programmes and initial assessment, which will identify trainees' individual needs and requirements to fulfil their training requirements.
Sabre's Induction Programme
Trainees will be given Sabre's Terms and Conditions of Training to read and sign. All new students will also receive information leaflets i.e. Be Safe Booklet, Trainee Charter as well as other relevant information. They will also be shown around the centre and business centre, and introduced to all staff.
Health and Safety
Health and Safety is a legal requirement, therefore Sabre Associates are committed to maintaining this.
All trainees will receive a Health and Safety tour of the building, shown the centre facilities, and shown where the fire exits and assembly points are. The Fire Action Notice, Building Layout, Exit Routes as well as the First Aid Contacts and Location are displayed on each department exit doors.
It is a legal requirement for all trainees to inform an employer or trainer if they are currently requiring any medication, or have a disability under Sabre's Health and Safety policy.
About Sabre Associates
Sabre are a training organisation who understands that there are different factors that can prevent learners achieving their goals and employment within this area, therefore Sabre specialises in specific training to overcome these barriers. Sabre has fully qualified, experienced staff to guide and support the learner through their progress and help them to achieve their goals and increase their job prospects. At Sabre's premises we have disabled facilities and up to the date equipment. A combination of the services and facilities ensure that trainees leaving to gain full employment are afforded the best possible support around.
There are no "classrooms" at Sabre; we have separate departments, which are arranged like a working environment. The training at Sabre is designed to suit the individual person's needs regardless how much help they need. Every learner can learn at his or her own pace, so there is no pressure to keep up with anybody else. Your training is delivered in a friendly atmosphere and you will be supported and guided on a one to one basis by Sabre's experienced staff. People of all ages attend Sabre, and their time can be used for employability skills, experience in a working environment, building up confidence, being motivated, generating a good attendance and time-keeping record, job seeking skills and as a stepping stone to employment or further education
